5 Jun 2008 - Campaign Continues to Keep Rastrick Health Centre in Rastrick
If you want to help keep our Health Centre in Rastrick, here are 3 things you can do :
1. Write to Calderdale PCT as soon as you can to tell them what you think.
Here are some points that you may wish to include :
- That you want local provision where you live
- That you have not been consulted as to what you'd like to happen
- Ask where is the evidence that this new clinic is wanted by Rastrick Health Centre users and the wider community of Rastrick?
- Why you specifically NEED the health centre to be in Rastrick eg travel concerns such as cost, reliability, availability, convenience / concerns about safety / access / continuity of care etc
Send the letter to :
David Waddingham
Head of Primary & Community Care
Calderdale Primary Care Trust
4th Floor, F Mill, Dean Clough, Halifax, HX3 5AX
2. Help collect signatures on the petition.
Blank copies can be downloaded from our ducuments section.
We plan to gather all signatures by the end of June and present copies to both Calderdale Council and to the PCT. Collected signatures can be handed in to Rastrick Health Centre Pharmacy, David Stevenson at Ward Court or to CCCAG Officers.
3. Keep checking this site for updates.
Once the planning application goes in, we will advise everyone with concerns about the new clinic how best they can register their official individual objection.
