Metro Decision Re. Bus Withdrawals Protest 

Following the presentation of  a 700+ signature petition in mid-February, we have now just been advised by Councillor Paul Rogan that Metro have re-considered the matter - and do not intend to re-instate the service, or in any way fill the gaps left by the changes to the services.

Our group now proposes to continue to act against this decision and the matter will be discussed at our 4th June meeting (see diary dates.)

As this affects a wider community of Rastrick, we have invited the residents of Bridge End / Thornhill road to join forces with us via their newly formed Community Action Group. 

We are also trying to establish links within the Rastrick Common community where we are aware people are affected too.

In the meantime, we are actively suporting the protest on Wednesday 28th May which very much involves the Bus Services Withdrawal as well as the Health Centre, as they are both about keeping Rastrick services in Rastrick.
