Residents, Park Wardens and the Community Safety Team make a great start on clearing the land at the bottom of Carr Green Lane adjacent to the new playground 

 

 

 

      

 

       The land had been nominated

       as one of the eyesores in our

       area in the survey undertaken

       by the group in November 2007

It was also chosen as this quarter's project because our community group event : 'Party In The Park' will be held just nearby on the recreation ground on 31st August 2008

       This was the first tidy up

       where the group was able

       to use the 'community tools'

       provided for all of the Rastrick

       community groups by  

       Calderdale Council's 

       Community Safety Team

We really appreciate everyone's efforts and would love more people to come forward to lend a hand at future tidy up sessions.

Please consider joining us!

 

It's a great way to meet fellow residents whilst doing something worthwhile that benefits us all.

 

  This land will probably need  

  a couple more sessions

  depending on manpower,

  and there are more sites 

  we'd like to do that were

  nominated in the survey.
